MISSION BAGHIRATHA

Mission Bhagiratha is a Flag ship programme to provide safe drinking water to each and every household. The total project cost for Khammam District is Rs. 1666.24 Crores (both Intra & Grid). Khammam District has 969 habitations, out of which 960 habitations, are being supplied with Drinking supplied with Drinking water daily from palair & Wyra reservoir.

Out of 901 old /existing OHSR’s,901 OHSRs are renovated & painted & 582 OHSRs are newly sanctioned & Constructed under Mission Bhagiratha Scheme.

Total pipeline sanctioned in the District is 2203.42 kms. Out of this 2194.38 kms pipeline is successfully laid and commissioned under Mission Bhagiratha Scheme.

Out of 969 – 920 habitations are stabilized and provided with drinking water daily.

Out of 171 2BHK colonies in the District, 161 2BHK colonies are provided with Mission Bhagiratha water.

In Khammam District has 1163 Schools, for which Mission Bhagiratha water is provided with Tap.

Out of 127 Rythuvedika’s in the District 124 Rythuvedika’s are being provided with Drinking water.

In Khammam District, Out of 582 Vykuntadamam,  557 Vykuntadamam’s are provided with water.

Out of 1604 Anganwadi’s 1552 Anganwadi’s are provided with Drinking water.
