1.Post Matric Scholarships & Fee Reimbursement :

The Post Matric scholarship will be sanctioned to the minority students studying Intermediate, Graduation, post Graduation and Professional courses on saturation basis.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

1. Annual income of Parent / Guardian from all sources does not exceed
Rs.1.50 lakhs per anum in Rural area and Rs. 2.00 lakh per anum in Urban area.
For Professional courses fee reimbursement will be sanctioned only to those students admitted in Convener quota category ‘A’ and Admissions made on the basis of CET and through counseling.
3. The Maximum eligible age as on the date of as on 1st July for the various courses are given as under for obtaining a scholarship.

RTF:   Reimbursement of Tuition Fee in full for students pursuing post matric courses approved by the University/Board.

2. Shaadi Mubarak Scheme:-

The Government of Telangana introduced the “Shaadi Mubarak Scheme” to all minority communities unmarried girls on their marriage with a view to alleviate financial distress in the family and under the Scheme, a onetime financial assistance of Rs.1,00,116/- shall be granted to every Minority girl before the marriage provided application is submitted at least one month in advance from the date of marriage subject to the following guidelines given as under: with effect from 2nd October, 2014

  • Eligibility Criteria:
  • The Unmarried Girl shall belong to Minority Community.
  • The Unmarried Girl shall be a resident of Telangana State.
  • The Unmarried Girl should have completed 18 years of age at the time of Marriage.
  • The Combined income of the Parents shall not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- per annum.
  • The Wedding of the Minority Girl shall be on or after 2nd October, 2014
  • Procedure for applying and processing:
  • The eligible poor minority girl shall apply (register) online through http://telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in. (at your nearest Meeseva) and submit the application at the respective Thasildars of Mandal for sanction.

3.CHIEF MINISTER’S OVERSEAS SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR MINORITIES

The Government of Telangana Introduced  of a new scheme of CHIEF MINISTER’S OVERSEAS STUDY SCHEME FOR MINORITIES” for pursuing Higher Studies in Post Graduate Courses in Foreign Universities from the year 2015-16 and the guidelines issued in the G.O.Ms.No.24, MWD (Estt.I) Department, dt.19.05.2015

  • Government has issued orders implementation of the scheme and schedule of the scheme in the G.O.Ms.No.126, MWD (Estt.I) Department, dt.17.07.2015 and a notification published in News papers i.e. online applications are invited from the eligible Minority candidates for grant of scholarship/financial assistance for pursuing PG/Doctoral Courses in Foreign Universities for the year 2015-16.
  • The Eligible students are get Rs. 20.00 Lakhs and One way Ticket fair up to 0.60( Sixty Thousand Only)
  • The candidates can registered in online through the online website as mentioned   http://telanganaepass.cgg.gov.infor grant of scholarship / financial assistance  for pursuing PG/Doctoral Courses in Foreign Universities.

b.Distribution of Gift Packets

  • RAMZAN FESTIVALS

Government of Telangana has decided to conduct Ramzan (Dawat-e-Iftar) Celebrations 2018 by organizing Christmas Feast & Distribution of Clothes (8500) Gift Packets to the Poor destitute and deserving Muslim as a Gift of Telangana Government on the eve of the Ramzan Festival at (5) Constituency locations of  Khammam District.

5.Bank Linked Schemes :-

The scheme is for individuals who desires to setup self-employment activities where the maximum cost is upto Rs.10.00Lakhs by providing Subsidy.

The Corporation provides Subsidy as per the following slabs:

      • Aadhar Card is mandatory.
      • One Passport size photograph.

      • Every beneficiary shall apply online only through MPDOs / District Office of the concerned Mandal / District.
      • After applying in the portal, the beneficiary should submit the application form and enclosures along with the Bank consent to the concerned MPDO / Municipal Commissioner / District Minorities Welfare Officer (DMWO).
      • After getting the approval of the respective District Collector, Subsidy is released from the Head Office (MFC/CMFC) to the beneficiaries Non-operative SB Account Number directly through proper channel.

6.Training & Employment:

Eligibility:-

      • Should be a Minority Community
      • Annual family income of below Rs.1,50,000/- in rural and Rs.2,00,000/- in urban areas, issued by Tahsildar from MeeSeva Only.
      • The candidate must possess minimum educational qualifications as per the training course opted.
      • Age between 18 to 35 years.
      • Applications invited thorough Paper Notifications.

7.Driver Empowerment Programme:-

Government of Telangana has launched a programme called DRIVER EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME to empower the minority drivers in collaboration with Maruthi Motors, Uber cab service provider. The program includes skill enhancement of the drivers through Maruthi Driving School, assistance for placement through Uber and financial assistance for vehicle purchase through Minorities Finance Corporation.

The successful training completed candidates will be provided financial assistance for purchase of four wheeler vehicle as detailed hereunder:

      • 60% of the unit cost (or) Rs.5,00,000/- whichever is less subsidy from concerned Department.
      • Rs.50,000/- beneficiary contribution and remaining loan from bank.

8.Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS),

Honorable Chief Minister of Telangana Shri. K Chandrasekhar Rao Garu has high vision of making the state “Bangaru Telangana” (Golden Telangana). Inclusive development of all communities, Empowerment and integration of all marginalised sections of the state is an important first step in the direction of building a Golden Telangana.

As part of Minorities development and KG to PG Mission, the Honorable Chief Minister Sri. K. Chandrasekhar Rao Garu has sanctioned total 204 Minorities Residential Schools in 31 districts of Telangana and 12 Residential Junior Colleges where more than 1 lakh minority students will educate per year. This is a landmark initiative in the Indian history, which has created an opportunity to minorities and a stepping stone to educate economically backward minority’s children.

In Khammam District there are total Seven (7) Residential Schools are sanctioned.   (Boys-4, Girls-3) and Upgraded into Intermediate College Level.

      1. HOW TO SUBMIT ONLINE APPLICATION FOR THE ENTRANCE TEST
      1. The eligible candidates can submit his/her application through online  by visiting TMREIS website tmreis.telangana.gov.in from any internet centre, any TMR Institution or Helpline centre (040-23437909) of TMREIS and hall Ticket can be downloaded immediately.
      2. Offline application can also be obtained from any TMR Institution and duly filled in application can be submitted to the concerned Principal directly for uploading it to the TMREIS and can obtain the Hall Ticket.
      3. Before submission of ONLINE Application, the candidates should go through the prospectus and application format by visiting TMREIS Official website tmreis.telangana.gov.in
      4. While filling the application form the candidate should ensure that his/her name, date of birth, category (religion/caste), Class and names of TMR schools in order of preference where the candidate is seeking admission, entrance examination Centre, gender, parents phone number etc. are correctly filled. Hence in order to avoid any mistakes before filling the online application, the candidates should fill a sample application form given at annexure- I and after verifying the details the Online application can be filled and submitted through online.
      5. Upload the pass port size photograph and signature of the candidate within 100 Kb size only.
      6. Option of School for admission in Class V: The candidate can opt any three TMR Schools in his/her native erstwhile district in order of preference for admission. Boys should opt boys TMR Schools and Girls should opt girls TMR schools in his/her native Erstwhile District.
      7. Option of Examination centre for class V: Candidate can opt any TMR Institution in his/her native erstwhile district to appear the entrance test as shown in the website 1st come 1st allotted subject to availability.
      8. Option of TMR School for admission in Class VI, VII or VIII: The candidate should opt only one TMR School in his/her native erstwhile district subject to availability of vacancies. Boys should opt boys TMR School and Girls should opt girls TMR School in his /her native Erstwhile District.
      9. Entrance Examination for admission in Class VI,VII or VIII:  The entrance examination centre for seeking admission in class VI, VII or VIII is the TMR school where the candidate is seeking admission.
      10. There is no ONLINE registration fee.
      11. There is no scope for change of any particulars mentioned in the application after submission of ONLINE application.

The number of seats earmarked for Orphan / Disabled / Armed force personnel of Ex – Serviceman or widows of Ex – Servicemen children shall be allotted from the quota of respective community, if more number of candidates are registered from these categories against the allotted seats, admission shall be given based on the merit. If no child is registered from these specialised categories, the seats shall be filled by giving the admission to the children of respective community based on the merit in the entrance test.

9. National Scholarships (Govt. of India) :-

  • OBJECTIVE
  • The scholarship at pre matric level will encourage parents from minority communities to send their school going children to school, lighten their financial burden on school education and sustain their efforts to support their children to complete school education. The scheme will form the foundation for their educational attainment and provide a level playing field in the competitive employment arena. Empowerment through education,
  • which is one of the objectives of this scheme, has the potential to lead to up liftment of the socio economic conditions of the minority communities.
  • SCOPE
  • The scholarship will be awarded for studies in India in a government or private school from class I to class X and XI to PG including such residential Government institutes and eligible private institutes selected and notified in a transparent manner by the State Government and Union Territory Administration concerned.
  • ELIGIBILITY
  • Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination and annual income of their parents/
  • guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1 lakh.

10.Nai Roshini (Women Empowerment Scheme).

The objective of the scheme is to empower and grow confidence among minority women, including their neighbours from other communities living in the same village/locality, by providing knowledge, tools and techniques for interacting with Government systems, banks and other institutions at all levels. Besides this, other motto of this scheme is the empowerment of women from the minority communities and emboldening them to move out of the confines of their home and community and assume leadership roles and assert their rights, collectively or individually, in accessing services, facilities, skills, and opportunities besides claiming their due share of development benefits of the Government for improving their lives and living conditions.

11.Naya Savera ( Free coaching & Allied scheme(Eamcet / I-Cet other Competitive Exams) for Minority Students.

The scheme aims to empower the minority communities, which are relatively disadvantaged section of society, by assisting them as well as those institutions working for them, towards enhancing their skills and capabilities to make them employable in industries, services and business sectors in addition to the government sector. It has the built-in resilience to adapt itself to the market dynamics on a continuous basis so that the target groups are not deprived of the professional acumen demanded by the changing/emerging market needs and opportunities for employment at domestic as well as international.
