OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT, SURVEY AND LAND RECORDS:: KHAMAMM

       Khammam District cannot under formation of new districts in Telangana State . Khammam District old District. All the land records pertain to Government lands and Patta lands records are avaibale in this office.

Functions  and Duties.

1. Conducting Original / Resurvey / Supplemental Survey and creation of  new Sub Divisions.
2. Maintenance of survey sub-division work and up-to date Land Records.
3. Resolution of all types of Land disputes coming under purview of Revenue Survey.
4. Issue of Supplementary Sethwars.
5. On request of applicant patta phodi sub division will be created and issued of supplementary sethwar in the name of applicant on recommendation of Tahsildat.

Surveyors/Deputy Surveyors:

Attend All Works Pertaining to Maintenance of Survey in the Mandal. They have to Realize 20 field Days in a Month. They will attend various items of Survey Work for Which Different Out- Turns Are Prescribed Depending on the Nature of Work. The two important Work Which have direct interface with Public are

1. Disposal of F-Line Petition…………………………..1 Petition Per Day ( 4 Sy.Nos.or 7 SDs)
2. Patta Sub –Division Works …………………………1 Case per Day( Containing Not More than 7 SDs)
3. Other Survey Works Assignment SD Works…………………..7 SDs or Ac.10 Per Day.
4. Land Acquisition Work ………………7 SDs in Scattered Works or 11 SDs in Large Project Works per Day.
5. Lay –Out Works …………………………………30 Plots per Day
6. Alienation Works………………………..………1 Case of 7 SDs per Day
7. Enjoyment Survey ……………………..……….30 items per Day.
8. Re-fixation Work ………………………..120 Chains per Day

The Outturn of all works attended by surveyor are converted into field days and compared with monthly outturn of 20 Mondays.

Demarcation: Original Demarcation. Any person desirous of knowing his field boundaries should initially apply to Tahsildar concerned duly remitting prescribed fee. The Petition will be disposed of in according with provisions of BSO20.

Appeals: Any person aggrieved with demarcation done by Surveyor can appeal to Revenue Divisional officer concerned. Who will arrange for survey by Deputy Inspector of Survey.

Any person Aggrieved with demarcation by Deputy Inspector of Survey can appeal to Assistant Director who will arrange survey by Inspector of Survey.

Assistant Director is the final Authority for Survey on Appeal in District level.

Sub –Division Survey: Any Public interested in Sub – Divisional of his land shall Apply to Tahsildar.

The Sub- Divisional will be created by Mandal Surveyor and Scrutinized by Deputy Inspector of Survey

The Sub- Divisional will be sanctioned and Mutated by Tahsildar.

Availability of Land Records: In Telangana Area, land records are maintained at District lavel only. However village Maps are Maintained at state level at certain Survey Office.

Town Survey Records are Maintained in Municipal Office ( Book Map, Town Survey Land Register)

Tahsildars/Assistant Director / Central Survey Officers are Authorized to Supply Copies of Land Records to Public after prescribe fee is Remitted.

FMBs, RSRs, Village Maps of Andra Region Sethwars, Wasulbakis, Village Maps in Telangana Region District Survey and Land Records office in Telangana Region.
